This Privacy Policy describes the ways in which the information about you may be collected, used, and disclosed, transferred and stored by us when you interact with Inteware, including Inteware website and Airdental.

We collect several types of Personal Data about you for various purposes.

When you browse our website without login and request information

1. Types of Personal Data we process

When you browse Inteware website without being logged in, you remain anonymous to us. We do not collect any personal information. However, we do rely on cookies to provide you with stable and relevant content. Please read our Cookie Policy to learn more.

When you fill out an online form to request or inquire information, the personal data we will collect from you include the following:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • ID for Messenger

2. Purposes of the data processing

When you request or inquire information from us, we process your personal data with the following purposes:

  • Providing more information about our products or services, if requested.
  • Responding to your inquiries.

3. Legal basis for processing the data

Depending on your intention, the basis may be taking steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement or Inteware’s legitimate interest to share more information about our service or products.

When you register, login and use an account for Airdental

1. Types of Personal Data we process

You will be prompted to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Clinic name
  • Username and password for the account
  • ID information for Facebook, Line, Skype, or WeChat
  • Cookies

Inteware does not access or process patient data unless you share your patient data via Airdental service.

2. Purposes of the data processing

We process your personal data with the following purposes:

  • Creating, administrating and validating your account in Airdental;
  • Verifying your/clinic’s identity;
  • Contacting the user;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the sales of Inteware’s products and services.
  • Providing customer support.

3. Legal basis for processing the data

EU Data protection law requires us to have a legal basis before processing any Personal Data about you. We may process Personal Data about you if one of the following applies:

  • you have given your consent.
  • provision of Personal Data is necessary for the performance of a contract with you and/or for any pre-contractual obligations thereof;
  • processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation;
  • processing is related to a task that is carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in Inteware;
  • processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests.

Please note that Inteware is a data processor of patient data shared via Airdental service. We, on behalf of clinics and labs, are transmitting and storing personal data of the patient when using Airdental service.

When you purchase online at Airdental

1. Types of Personal Data we process

The personal data we will collect from you include the following:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Name
  • payment information (we do not collect or process your credit card information as it is processed by dedicated data processor)

2. The purpose of the data processing

Data is processed to process and deliver orders.

3. Legal basis for processing the data

The legal basis for collecting and processing data is the execution of the relevant sales agreements.

4. Data transfers

Your data may be processed by data processors such as Online payment services, with which we have entered into data processing agreements.

Disclosure of Data

We intend to keep your Personal Data confidential, in compliance with our legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose this information to third parties, other than as described in this Privacy Policy, for the purposes described above, or as we disclose to you at the time the data is collected.

INTEWARE may disclose your Personal Data, in accordance with applicable law, in the good faith belief that such action is necessary:

If you are located outside Taiwan and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Taiwan and process it there.

Your Personal Data shall be retained for as long as required by the purposes they have been collected for.

We may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever you have given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. INTEWARE will take reasonably necessary security measures to secure the information you provide us, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may employ third party companies and individuals (“Service Providers”) to facilitate our service, to provide the service on our behalf, to perform service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

These third parties who have been authenticated by us have the technical ability to provide service.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our service.

  • Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the “effective date” at the top of the Privacy Policy when it is most recently updated. All changes are effective immediately when they are posted on our website and Airdental.

When you browse our website, we will give a prominent notice on our website and on Airdental to notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy.

If you have an account with Airdental, we will send a notice to you via email to inform you about the changes prior to the change becoming effective.

Our service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Right of Users

You may exercise certain rights regarding Personal Data about you processed by Inteware.

    You have the right to withdraw consent where you have previously given your consent to the processing of Personal Data about you.
  • Object to processing of your Data.
    You have the right to object to the processing of your Data if the processing is carried out on a legal basis other than consent. Further details are provided in the dedicated section below.
  • Access your Data.
    You have the right to learn if Data is being processed by Inteware, obtain disclosure regarding certain aspects of the processing and obtain a copy of the Data undergoing processing.
  • Verify and seek rectification.
    You have the right to verify the accuracy of your Data and ask for it to be updated or corrected.
  • Restrict the processing of your Data.
    You have the right, under certain circumstances, to restrict the processing of your Data. In this case, we will not process Personal Data about you for any purpose other than storing it.
  • Have your Personal Data deleted or otherwise removed.
    You have the right, under certain circumstances, to obtain the erasure of your Data from Inteware.
  • Receive your Data and have it transferred to another controller.
    You have the right to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, if technically feasible, to have it transmitted to another controller without any hindrance. This provision is applicable provided that the Data is processed by automated means and that the processing is based on the User’s consent, on a contract which you are part of or on pre-contractual obligations thereof.
  • Lodge a complaint.
    You have the right to bring a claim before their competent data protection authority.

Details about the right to object to processing

Where Personal Data is processed for a public interest, in the exercise of an official authority vested in Inteware or for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by Inteware, you may object to such processing by providing a ground related to your particular situation to justify the objection.
